The program includes a plush shining star friend, crafted using only the finest of materials and identifiable by the crystal-like star and embroidered Shining Stars logo on the paw pad...and the chance to literally become a star by naming your very own star and having your name officially recorded with a star in the sky by the International Star Registry.
You can choose from a wide variety of Shining Stars Friends to buy for yourself or to give to your own shining star. Once purchased, you can log on to the Shining Stars website and using the secret code found inside the laminated tamper resistant hangtag you can register and name your star with the International Star Registry. The name will be officially recorded in book form with the United States Copyright office and the website will show an image and the coordinates of your star. This can then be printed on a certificate that verifies its exact location in the cosmos. But there's more...for children of all ages, the website is a virtual universe where they can send e-cards, play customized games designed for different age groups and find a galaxy of fun activities.
Young or old, anyone who receives a Shining Star Friend will have a cherished keepsake to treasure forever, as well as their own personally named star to shine brightly forever. A portion of the proceeds from each sale will also be donated to the Starlight Starbright children's foundation. Shipping Policies - Orders will be shipped by UPS Ground. All orders will be shipped within 3 to 5 business days.
If we receive an incorrect address and the item is returned, the customer will be responsible to pay the shipping cost to re-ship the item. If the item is delivered and we are charged an additional charge by UPS to correct the address, the amount charged will be billed to the customer.
All shipments fot Alaska, Hawaii and Purerto Rico will be shipped via the U. S. Postal Servicel
International orders will be shipped by U.S. Postal Service. Customer can choose their preferred method of shipping. All Import Fees and Duty Taxes are the responsibility of the receiver.
